Local Encryption Only: All file encryption and decryption occur 100% on your device — never on our servers.

Authenticated Encryption: Each file is encrypted using AES-256-GCM for integrity and confidentiality.

Smart Data Strategy:

Files 5MB and smaller use AES-256-GCM.

Files larger than 5MB (like videos) use Google Tink’s Streaming AEAD (AES256-GCM-HKDF-4KB) — enabling efficient, secure on-the-fly streaming.

Strong Key Derivation: Your master password derives a 256-bit encryption key using PBKDF2 with 65,536 iterations, making brute-force attacks highly impractical.

You Hold the Key: Your password is never stored or transmitted. If lost, we cannot recover it — ensuring only you have access.
