Cuewright

Cuewright is a 2.5D timing puzzle set inside a restored miniature playhouse. You are not the actor under the spotlight. You are the cue caller behind the curtain, responsible for every light, entrance, prop, lift, and scene change. Drag a clearly shaped cue card into the matching slot on the CueClock timeline, scrub the timing to preview the real stage response, then press Rehearse to watch the actors and machinery follow your plan. The first show teaches through two playable actions: place the moon-shaped light card in the moon slot, then rehearse it yourself. There is no instruction wall and no Next button that performs the lesson for you. Correct placements, early or late timing, backstage exposure, and stage collisions produce sound, motion, outlines, directional marks, and readable terminal poses. Reduced Motion keeps the same information in a stable presentation.

The first release contains exactly eight handcrafted shows: Solo Light, Room Change, Moon Lift, Tempest Night, Crossing Duet, Revolving Cafe, Twin Scenes, and Grand Revue. Each show has a distinct goal, stage mechanism, hazard set, and cue-causality graph. The progression begins with one-light matching and grows into multi-scene finales involving curtains, lifts, revolving scenery, actor crossings, coverage, and resource conflicts. Precise cues and exposure-free scenes earn Crew Marks. Between scenes, those marks let you select a crew tool with a genuine benefit and a visible tradeoff. Every cleared scene receives a solid seal. Completing a show closes and reopens the main curtain for a full cast bow and awards an Opening Stamp. The Playbill Archive persistently records eight miniature stages, best timelines, fixed Clean Curtain mastery criteria, and up to thirty-two backstage cards, so the theater still reflects earned progress after a restart. A failed keyframe preserves cleared scenes and points to the object, timing gap, and next useful direction.

Advertising never solves a cue. A rewarded video may restore one failed scene, redraw one crew offer, or double the remaining Crew Marks for the current show within a daily limit. It cannot move a card, clear a scene, grant an Opening Stamp, change a rating, or trigger an automatic rehearsal. Interstitials are attempted only when leaving the Show Bill or archive, use one shared cooldown, and cannot block navigation when unavailable or timed out. Cuewright's 2.5D look comes from the precise 2D timeline working with live 3D actors, light pools, occlusion, curtains, lifts, and scenery. It does not claim freeform directing, endless scripts, networked performances, real-time motion capture, or offline high-end rendering.
