This game is the inverse of Stroop Effect in Psychology. The Stroop effect, discovered in 1930, is that the brain reads words faster than it recognizes colors. This is based on the idea that word processing is significantly faster than color processing. The theory suggests that since recognizing colors is not an “automatic process” there is hesitancy to respond; whereas, the brain automatically understands the meaning of words as a result of habitual reading.

Stoop effect depends on saying the color. However, in this game we will try to visualize the color rather than reading it. This is because games and phone screens depends mostly on visual interactions. So try to choose/click on the "what the word says" rather than the "color of the word".
