CBR HEALTH STUDY

ACT Health is seeking to better understand the health and wellbeing of LGBTIQ+ Canberrans. The term LGBTIQ+ is respectfully used as an umbrella term and is not intended to be limited to only those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, intersex and/or queer.

The study is a unique opportunity for LGBTIQ+ Canberrans (aged 16 years and over) to share their experiences on their health and wellbeing, mental health, and access to health services. It will provide vital information to ACT Health to better understand and support the current and emerging health needs of the LGBTIQ+ community and improve the health outcomes of LGBTIQ+ Canberrans now and into the future.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. The study consists of a series of short surveys that will take between one and five minutes to complete. The surveys can be completed on a mobile device with our tailored app, or via a web browser on any device.

The CBR Health and Wellbeing Study will include questions about your health, health behaviours and how you are feeling. The questions can be completed at the participants’ own pace: all at once or over eight weeks. Participants will be sent notifications on their mobile devices as a reminder to complete the study.

All information is encrypted immediately after it is recorded and only accessible by ACT Health staff via secure protocols.
