Ringfence: Spam Call Blocker

Spam and spoofed calls are stopped before your phone rings, and real people still get through. Ringfence is a private call blocker: no account, nothing uploaded.

SPOOF SHIELD

Many spam calls use a fake caller ID. Spoof Shield (Pro) stops them in two ways:

• Carrier check: calls whose caller ID failed your carrier's verification (STIR/SHAKEN in the US) are stopped, where your carrier supports it (Android 11+).

• Neighbor-spoof filter: enter your own number once. Strangers whose number copies your area code and first digits are silenced, or hung up on if you prefer.

Free users see an honest count of spoofed calls it would have stopped.

NEVER MISS A REAL CALL

• Repeat-caller pass: if the same number calls twice within 3 minutes, the second call rings through. A number you blocked by hand stays blocked.

• Expecting a call: pause blocking for 1 hour, 3 hours or until a set time, from the app, the blocked-call notification or a Quick Settings tile.

• Always-ring list: your whitelist beats every rule, with no limit.

• Contacts always ring past every automatic filter.

SMART FILTERS, NO LIST NEEDED

Block hidden numbers, unknown callers with no caller ID, numbers not in your contacts, and private or payphone calls, each with one switch.

YOUR RULES

• Block list: 25 exact numbers free, unlimited with Pro.

• Prefix ("starts with") and wildcard rules with * and ? (Pro).

• Country and area-code rules (Pro): block all international calls except chosen countries, block area codes, or use a preset: France ARCEP telemarketing ranges, Brazil 0303, India 140 series, US and Canada premium 900 and toll-free, UK 09 and 070, Germany 0900 and 0137.

• Quiet hours: one schedule window free, several with Pro.

HANG UP OR SILENCE, AND SEE WHY

Hang up or silence blocked calls. Each one gets a notification with a "Pause 1 h" button; notifications can be switched off.

The blocked-calls log shows the reason for every call and a badge when a number keeps trying. Tap a call to mark it "Not spam, always ring" or to block it. "Test a number" shows what would happen to a first call from any number now.

The weekly Quiet Report shows calls blocked, time saved, your busiest hour, spoofed calls and reasons. Pro adds 8 weeks of history and Spam radar, which spots ranges that keep calling (+1 888 555 •••) and blocks them in one tap.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

It uses Android's official call-screening role; every decision is made on your phone. No account. Your rules, contacts and log stay on the device and are never uploaded. Ringfence does not read your call history or SMS and needs no phone-state access. The only optional permission is contacts, read on the phone so people you know always ring.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Everything not marked Pro is free, including a 7-day log and the weekly report. The free version shows a banner on the log and an occasional full-screen ad on quiet screens, never in your first session.

Pro removes ads and unlocks every feature marked Pro, including full history with CSV export. Spoof Shield, country rules and prefix or wildcard rules can also be unlocked for 24 hours with a rewarded video.

Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription (the yearly plan may include a free trial for eligible new users) or a one-time lifetime purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in Google Play under Subscriptions.

HOW TO START

1. Open Ringfence and set it as your call screening app (Android 10+).

2. Turn on the filters you want and add your own rules.
