bound

Record your travels and build a world map that is yours.

Just paint the countries you've been to. The map tells the rest of the story.

■ Paint at four depths

Passing through an airport is not the same as living somewhere for a year. bound paints in four depths — transit, day trip, stayed, lived — and the color deepens with each one.

It is not a yes/no checkbox. How you actually met each country becomes the map.

■ Features

[ An entry for every visit ]

Log a country as many times as you go back. Arrival and departure can be a year, a year and month, or a full date — put in whatever detail you remember. Notes, photos and links to the pages you used go on each entry too.

[ Years of travel, filled in minutes ]

Start by ticking off the countries you've been to, continent by continent. A lifetime of travel becomes a map in a few minutes, and you can refine the depth and the dates whenever they come back to you.

[ Import your flights ]

Export your flights from Flighty and email them to your personal bound address. bound sorts them into the countries you visited and how long you stayed, and you review everything before it goes on your map. Free (sign-in required).

[ bound score and stats ]

A score built from how many countries you have met and how deeply. Progress by continent, your farthest point, days spent traveling — all totaled for you.

[ Passport ]

A place to look back on every country you have visited, flags and entries stacking up over time.

[ This time of year ]

Your home screen surfaces trips from the same month, or the same season. When an entry has no photo, a scene from that country stands in for it.

[ Wishlist ]

Star the countries you are curious about. There is no limit on how many.

[ Trip plans ]

Build out a trip before you go. Line up ideas by date, attach notes and photos, and add them to your calendar.

[ Share as an image ]

Export your map and flags as a single image — minimal or boarding pass, in square, portrait or landscape. Every template, format and color is free.

[ Share your map ]

Publish your world map as a single page. Anyone can open it without the app. Your notes and photos stay private.

■ bound PRO

[ Paint inside countries ]

States in the US, regions in Italy, and whatever the equivalent is elsewhere. Japan's prefectures are free for everyone; PRO opens up the same detail across the rest of the world.

[ Keep more photos ]

Go from 5 photos per entry to 30, with no cap on the total.

[ bound AI ]

Looks up opening hours and directions for the places in your trip plan, and writes them into your notes.

[ Drop the logo ]

Export your shared images without the bound mark.

The monthly plan comes with a 7-day free trial. A one-time purchase is also available.
