Which tool should I use?

For text such as addresses, plates and order numbers, use the solid bar. It replaces the pixels outright so they cannot be read back from the exported image.

Blur and mosaic change pixels rather than removing them. They suit faces and backgrounds, but choose the bar for anything that must be unreadable.

Resolution

Your photo is saved at its own resolution. Images with a long edge over 8192 px are resized to that limit because of phone graphics hardware. The app tells you when this happens.

Permissions

Blur Censor does not request photo, storage, camera or location access. Android's photo picker hands the app only the image you choose, and saved copies go straight into your gallery. The app cannot browse your photos. It declares ordinary permissions needed for ads: internet, network state and advertising ID.

Feedback

Tally stores your feedback, optional reply email and app/device details including version, build, operating system and selected language. Photos are not attached automatically. Do not include sensitive information.
