BIT Herbal Garden provides information on the uses of the herbal plants.

Department of Biotechnology, Bannari Amman Institute of Technology instigates a Herbal Garden which holds about 50 species of medicinal plants used to treat various ailments in Siddha and Ayurvedic medicine. Students and Faculty members of the Department uses the plants in the garden for their research on Pharmacognosy, Physico-chemical Characterization and Phytopharmacology. BIT Herbal Garden provides information on the uses of the herbal plants with Tamil name.
