Attack on Titan 3 suits players who want to experience major Attack on Titan events while playing as their own Scout Regiment member. The game covers the story from its early chapters to the finale, placing a new customizable hero alongside familiar characters. As the conflict grows, players take part in battles inside the Walls and expeditions beyond them.
Story spanning the full saga
Attack on Titan 3 follows key events from the complete Attack on Titan storyline. It includes rebuilt scenes from earlier games as well as story developments not previously told in those games. This gives players a single campaign that moves from the earliest conflicts through the final stages of humanity’s resistance.
Custom Scout protagonist
You play as a new Scout rather than only controlling characters from the series. Attack on Titan 3 lets you adjust your hero’s appearance and develop equipment over time. Weapon parts and other gear can be unlocked or enhanced as you continue through missions.
ODM gear aerial combat
You use omni directional mobility gear to move through towns and battlefields at high speed. The combat focuses on positioning in the air, identifying Titan weak points, and attacking while moving around the target. Simple controls are also available for players who prefer less demanding inputs during aerial action.
Titans with different attack patterns
Attack on Titan 3 includes Titans with varied behavior and attacks, so encounters can require different responses. In addition to regular threats, the game features battles against the Nine Titans for the first time. These fights form part of the escalating danger across the story.
Scout squad and Exterior Scouting Missions
You can meet characters including Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Erwin, and Reiner, then use their individual abilities when forming a squad. During Exterior Scouting Missions, your team travels beyond the Walls and establishes supply bases. You also decide whether to advance or retreat while dealing with threats and expanding humanity’s territory.
Players with save data from Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle may receive additional in game bonuses. The relevant save data must be stored on the same console. This can matter if you previously played either title and plan to continue on the same platform.
The game offers an optional simple control setting for players who want to focus more on movement and targeting than complex inputs. This option applies to the aerial combat that uses omni directional mobility gear. It can be useful when learning how to move around Titans and navigate scouting areas.
