App Lookup

Saints may think of App Lookup as a special web browser - developed for accessing the web version of the Google Play Store. Allowing brethren to install and manage their Android applications therefrom as an alternative to using the native Play Store app. An approach that afforded us the implementation of imagery data filtering (from content generated through the same site). Yes we believe that evangelical believers can very often find themselves offended by images (being found vain or somewhat inappropriate) amongst others during our earthly pilgrimage. This then meaning that being ever able to control what imagery content we get exposed to becomes a priceless privilege. And this is thus the core feature that App Lookup seeks to offer in pursuit of Christian virtue.

Being like a browser, the app does not by itself claim to help control what content gets generated by the user - so brethren do still need to exercise discretion on content they generate therewith. And for the same reason as well, we are not to be understood endorse (directly or otherwise) any application accessible using App Lookup (except for those developed by the likeChrist Ministries).

With the approach used, several limitations exist .

(1) Installing an app appears to take a little more screen taps (including having to input a password) than it would via the native Google Play App. However looking at considered benefit, this should simply be viewed as the price payable for virtue.

(2) It is even harder find new applications without the use of screenshots. But again looking at considered benefit, this should as well be viewed as the price payable for virtue.
