Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee, Talaja was established in 1965. The APMC was established with the objective of regulating the marketing of various types of agricultural produce. APMC was established primarily to meet the marketing needs of farmers and to provide them with a platform to sell agricultural produce in various markets and at competitive prices. It is spread over 24 bighas of land. Talaja and its surrounding villages are known for the production of onion, cotton, and groundnut.
