APMC was established primarily to meet farmers' marketing needs and provide them with a platform to sell agricultural produce in multiple markets and at competitive prices. It is spread over 21 bighas of land. Kalavad and its surrounding villages are known for producing Jeera, Ajama, Tuver, Chana, and Castor Seed.
