UK Birds of Prey - Garden Birds UK
Birds in England: A British garden is a wonderous place that can be full of nature and can attract many different species of bird. 🐦
Our garden birds are a part of our everyday life, whether it’s the robin perched on the garden fence or the flock of starlings you see on your way to work.
Enjoyment of birds brings people together in a really positive way. The RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch, now in its 39th year, is a chance for people of all ages to count the number of birds that visit their garden or local park.
To have hundreds of thousands of people spending an hour watching the wildlife in their garden isn’t only great to see, but it also helps us build up a picture of how our garden birds are doing, which is really useful.
Birds of England. Are a crucial part of the natural world. For example, after eating berries, they help to spread the seeds of the berry plant in their droppings. Many birds help to control numbers of insects – including caterpillars – and other small animals. Some birds even help pollinate plants: hummingbirds move pollen around as they feed on nectar.
