The virtue of Surat Al-Baqarah

There were several hadiths about the virtue of Surat Al-Baqarah, including on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Do not make your homes graveyards. And the hadith is useful to urge to perpetuate the remembrance of God in the homes and to read Surat Al-Baqara in it, because it repels Satan and makes him despair of seducing them and misleading them with the blessing of reading it. The virtue of Surat Al-Baqarah with Al-Imran On the authority of Al-Nawwas bin Sam’an, may God be pleased with him, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, say: “On the Day of Resurrection, the Qur’an will be brought, and its people who used to act according to it in this world. . And the hadith indicates that the Qur’an will come on the Day of Resurrection - and it was said that it will be depicted in a way and people will see it, as well as its companions who used to work with it in this world. So they obey what he commanded, and they rebuke what he rebukes. It is preceded by Surat Al-Baqara and Al-Imran arguing, and defending the worker with what they were commanded to do, and the one who left what they forbade. The virtue of the verses from Surat Al-Baqarah 1- The virtue of Ayat Al-Kursi (verse 255) from Surat Al-Baqara: On the authority of Ubayy ibn Ka’b, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “O Aba Al-Mundhir, which verse from the Book of God with you is the greatest? I said: God, there is no god but He, the Living, the Ever-Sustaining. (Sahih Muslim) The meaning of Al-Qayyum: that is, the one who establishes himself and establishes others for others, Glory be to Him. The meaning of knowledge is good for you: that is, let it be good for you and useful for you. And the hadeeth indicates that Ayat al-Kursi is the greatest verse in the Book of God, due to the great significance it contains of proving the Essence, Attributes, and Actions. Among its virtues, a number of hadiths were mentioned on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, including what is in the two Sahihs from the hadith of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, in which he said: “If you go to bed, recite the verse of the chair from the beginning until the verse is concluded, and God will still protect you from God, and no devil will come near you until the morning . Among them is what was proven with an authentic chain of narrators from the hadith of Abu Umamah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi after every prescribed prayer, it will not prevent him from entering Paradise unless he dies.” (Nisa’i and Ibn Hibban included it). I said: It is also one of the greatest things to heal from diseases and illnesses, especially what was related to the jinn, such as magic, touch... and others. It influences the jinn and expels them, God willing, for it is a weapon, and the weapon is the one who strikes it. 2- The merit of the last two verses of Surat Al-Baqarah (285, 286) on the authority of Abu Masoud Al-Badri, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: “Whoever recites the two verses from the end of Surat Al-Baqarah at night, that will suffice him” (2). The meaning of his sufficiency: that is, his disliked sufficiency on that night, and it was said his sufficiency for the night prayer. From the end of Surat Al-Baqarah: That is, from his saying: {The Messenger believed … until the end of it}. And it was authentically reported from the hadith of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them, that he mentioned the great merit of these two verses, and their being a light for the one who recites them on the Day of Resurrection, striving before him to glorify and glorify him, and that he did not read from them with a letter, seeking help from it to fulfill a purpose for you, except that you gave it to him (Sahih Muslim with the explanation of Al-Nawawi). Thus, it becomes clear to us the great virtue that Surat Al-Baqarah included in general and in particular in some of its verses, such as the verse of the Kursi and the two verses at the end of the surah, and it clearly appears to us what is authentically authenticated from the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, from the hadith of Buraydah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Read The cow, if he took it as a blessing and left it as a grief, the heroine cannot afford it.” (Sahih Muslim)
