Zan Fast Ferries

Zan Fast Ferries is the first booking app in Tanzania that gives user full control when booking for ferry trips between Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam. The app let user search for availability, select trips, choose class they wish, choose the seat and complete the booking in less than 3 minutes.

User will complete the payment within the app using the latest USSD push technology which connects to local mobile operators to allow the transaction to be complete on the mobile wallets.

Payment can also be made in cash at Zan Fast Ferries offices within allocated time before the booking being expired for failure to complete the payment.

Upon successful completion of the payment e-ticket is generated with QR code to allow user to board the ferry with their phone instead of paper ticket.

Zan Fast Ferries app also allow user to see the history of all the trips made. Furthermore, to expedite the booking, user can choose to save his/her id, this allow next trip to skip the process of entering passenger details.
