WHAT IS XBUS?

XBUS is the CARRIS service that ensures mobility to order. XBUS allows any user to request the transport between two CARRIS stops of your choice, at the area where the service is available.

HOW DOES XBUS WORK?

Just access the XBUS app, select the source and destination that you want and a CARRIS bus will transport you. With the app XBUS, after choosing the stops automatically receives information with the estimated time until the moment of collection and travel time. You can still follow the service in real time and when the driver is arrive stop, you will be notified. The system uses an algorithm route optimization that always guarantees the fastest route.

WHEN IS IT POSSIBLE TO USE THE XBUS?

The XBUS service is available from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm

CAN I USE XBUS IN ANY AREA OF LISBON?

The XBUS service is only available within the area defined of “Avenidas Novas”. See map for bigger detail.

HOW DO I MAKE THE PAYMENT?

Payment for this service is made on board the bus from CARRIS and in accordance with the current tariff. You can choose the on-board fare or for using your usual transport ticket.

IS THIS SERVICE SHARED?

XBUS mobility on demand is a shared service. The number of passengers who will share each trip varies depending on the search for a particular route and the capacity of the vehicle.

HOW TO USE THE XBUS SERVICE?

You can use the XBUS service in two ways: through the app - just download the app for free, activate the your profile and start using it - or through the number 213 613 050 - just call and an XBUS assistant will come forwards you in the mobility service selection process to order.

CAN THIS SERVICE BE USED BY PMR?

Vehicles that provide the XBUS service have a stop assisted. The maximum number of simultaneous users is conditioned to the area established inside the vehicle for the provision of this service.
