The application (Where are You ?) allows you to share your location by SMS or eMail and the recipient can simply view it on a map.
You can share your location (latitude, longitude) with another user via SMS.
This shipment does not consume Data.
The recipient (who must also have the application), can see your location on a map.
Instead of sending your location (lat, long), you can send the Map with your position as a photo.
This shipment will consume data (classical MMS), but the recipient does not need to have the application.
"SMS Location" uses three sources to locate you (GPS, Wifi, GSM).
Think activate (GPS or WiFi) the source you want to use before launching the App!

• GPS: order accuracy of 5 to 25 meters
The + : very accurate, no need for networks
The - : Latency to locate ~ 10 seconds, can not walk in buildings.
GPS is outdoors Ideal for precise localization.
• Wifi: order accuracy from 20 to 50 meters
The + : accurate, fast, walk in buildings if there is Wifi
The - : Do not walk outside (out of range of wifi)
Note: the wifi boxes are geo-localized and no need to connect to it with a code to determine its position. Just missing out on a wifi connection for the app (Where are You ?) You locates.
WiFi is Ideal for a location in a building, or in town (always captures a home wifi).
GSM: order accuracy of 1000-3000 meters
The + : Available when GPS and WiFi off
The - : Sketchy, latency to locate ~ 10 seconds.
GSM is the default location if GPS and WiFi are off.
Useful on the highway, when GPS does not pick up in the car.
