The rule of the game is simple: you can transform the word only by replacing - in each instance - a single letter.

The challenge: each word you get in the process of the transformation must itself be a valid English word!

There are more difficult versions of the puzzle - with exactly two letters replaced at each step.

A very special version of the puzzle is exactly three letters replaced at each step, which makes the puzzle almost impossible to solve.

The puzzle shows a starting word at the top and an ending word at the bottom. There is only one way to transform the starting word and reach the ending word – and you must find it!

Only the most common English words are allowed.

Each puzzle has only one correct solution.
