Wizard's Chess

Chess is a board logic game with special pieces for two opponents, combining elements of art, science and sport.

The game consists of players taking turns making moves. White makes the first move. Except for the capturing on the pass and castling described below, the move consists of the player moving one of his pieces to another square according to the following rules:

Pieces:

The King moves to the adjacent square vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.

The Queen moves any distance vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.

The Rook moves any distance vertically or horizontally.

The Bishop moves any distance on the diagonal.

The knight moves two squares vertically and then one square horizontally or vice versa, two squares horizontally and one square vertically, thus the knight moves like a capital letter "L" in the Latin alphabet.

A pawn can only move forwards: without a capture it moves one square vertically forwards, and with a capture it moves diagonally one square forwards-right or forwards-left. When a pawn moves to the last horizontal, it is replaced by any other piece of the same colour, except the king, at the player's choice.

The aim of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king.

Check is a situation where the king is under checkmate.

Checkmate - a situation where the king is under check and the player has no opportunity to eliminate this check.

Pat or draw - a situation when a player in his turn is unable to make a single move, but the player's king is not under check.
