WINDTRE Family Protect

WINDTRE Family Protect is the Parental Control App that takes care of online security and allows you to control and protect your family's browsing, both at home and away from home.

The App allows mobile customers to control and protect their children's browsing at all times, and fixed customers to monitor and protect all objects connected to the home router.

WINDTRE Family Protect allows you, in a few simple steps, to:

• Block or filter content you deem inappropriate

• Block Game Apps (Minecraft, Fortnite, PokemonGO, Clash of Clans, etc)

• Block Video Apps (YouTube, Netflix, SkyGo, etc)

• Block Messaging Apps (Facebook Messenger, Viber, Skype, etc)

• Find out which apps and websites have been used the most and block them

• Find out how much time your child spends on certain apps or websites (only compatible with WINDTRE Junior Protect installed on a device with Android operating system)

• Manage up to 10 devices between Smartphones and Tablets

• Remotely suspend your Internet connection

• Set time limits on internet use

• Check your child's location

• Check the battery status of paired devices

• Trouble shoot your home router

• Inspect the status of all (IoT) objects connected to the router and block their access to the Internet

We remind you that, for the correct functioning of Parental Control, the following are necessary:

• the WINDTRE Family Protect App, installed on the parent's Smartphone or Tablet

• the WINDTRE Junior Protect App, installed on your child's Smartphone or Tablet.

Activating protection and connecting your smartphone with that of your child is quick and easy:

• Install the WINDTRE Family Protect App on your Smartphone or Tablet

• Log in with the "administrator" number communicated during subscription

• Create the profile you want to protect and add a new device

• Start the child device pairing process by sending the code

• Click on the link received from the parent device and install the WINDTRE Junior Protect App on the device to be protected

• Open the WINDTRE Junior Protect App on your device and enter the code.

• Start protecting your children from the dangers of the Internet now.

To use WINDTRE Family Protect for free, you must activate one of the Junior offers, or you can use it by activating the optional WINDTRE Junior Protect at a cost of €0.99 per month, with the 1st month free, compatible with all mobile offers and WINDTRE's fixed offer.
