VS NFL + NCAA Football (2025)

Welcome to the VS NFL + NCAA football app.

This app provides the full NFL and NCAA D1, D2 and D3 schedules and scores including live play-by-play updates (when available) in an uncluttered format using a menu-driven interface that can be styled in the colors of any team. The NFL and NCAA data are separate, so if you are only interested in one, the other does not interfere.

This is the replacement to the original app that had been available since 2011. Please help out the football community by reading the full description before assigning a low rating and referencing a feature the app does not provide. Rate it based on what it is providing.

GENERAL

• Not affiliated with the NFL, NCAA or ESPN.

• Does not track you.

• NFL week starts on Wednesday, NCAA week starts on Tuesday.

• Game times shown relative to the device's time zone.

DATA

• NFL, NCAA (D1, D2, D3).

• Preseason (NFL).

• Regular season (NFL, NCAA).

• Postseason (NFL, NCAA).

• Live play-by-play when available. All NFL, many D1, very very few D2, D3.

FEATURES

• Game schedules and scores by day and week for selected league group.

• Monday night, Thursday night and Sunday night schedules (NFL).

• Live play-by-play (for available games).

• Game scoring plays summary (for games that have play-by-play).

• Add game time reminder entries to calendar.

• Team schedules.

• Standings with won/loss record splits and current streak.

• Standings with playoff seeding (NFL).

• Full bye week schedule (NFL).

• Weekly bye teams.

• Select teams for a custom 'My Teams' group.

• Select conferences for a custom 'My Conferences' group (NCAA).

• Set app color theme per league to any team's colors.

• USA or Euro date style (available in settings).

DATA REFRESH

Data is refreshed when…

• App is launched or brought to foreground.

• League is changed.

• Live schedules are being viewed (continually updates).

NAVIGATION

• Group, League and Schedule popup menus.

• Popup menus filter data that is shown in the selected schedule.

• Tap outside a popup to close.

• Back button also closes popups.

• Long-press of league button shows 'My Teams' current week schedule.

TEAM CONTEXT MENU

Tap team in non-live game to show context menu of options...

• View team schedule.

• Select team's conference (NCAA).

• Toggle team as a saved team.
