Many highways across the World have section control system installed which measure average speed of vehicle that passes from point A to point B. As a result of higher than average speed in a given section, drivers would receive a speeding ticket.

As these section control systems do not have a goal to punish the drivers but rather to make them safer, in a same way "Reckless driver" app does not have a goal to save you from a ticket but rather to inform you if your average speed is faster than allowed in order to make you aware to slow down and increase your safety.

Name of the app "Reckless driver" does not have intention to make fun of any law and initiatives for driving safety but is envisioned to be catchy and draw your attention to install it in your best interest.

"Reckless driver" app is very simple to use - you need to activate GPS (Location Services) on your phone in order to make the smartphone aware of your speed. When you launch the app for the first time, you will be asked to confirm predefined driving parameters (mi/h vs km/h, desired average speed, frequency of voice notifications) and the ride can start. Just tap the Start button to start the process and tap on the Stop button to stop it. App will be giving you voice notifications about your average speed even when your phone is locked.

"Reckless driver" app is a small contribution to traffic safety for all those who do not have board computers in their cars, but even for the ones who have due to the fact that voice notifications bring innovation to the board computers.
