The unmissable Lightwaves festival makes its annual return to Salford Quays this month. If you’re in the Manchester area between the 7th and 16th December, pop along to see how we put a creative spin on these impressive light waves that illuminate public spaces around the city for ten days only.

Accompanying the playful art installations, the Lightwaves festival features exclusive digital art displays from emerging talent, as well as light wave workshops held by reputable artists from around the world.

There are two new art commissions that respond directly to audience voice and movement, including a fun interactive wall that invites you to paint with light. We’re also proud to announce that last year’s highly anticipated Daleks and TARDIS will be making a special appearance!
