CopyZoom

Business cards, receipts, invoices, chat screens — stop retyping text.

The moment you point the camera, CopyZoom groups what it reads by type and lets you copy any value with one tap.

■ Automatically grouped

· Contacts — phone numbers in local or international format (+1, +44, +81…), labeled mobile, landline or toll-free when the number itself tells, and fax when marked "Fax"; email addresses; and names in Latin letters on business cards

· IBANs and long numbers — IBANs with valid check digits go under Bank accounts; other long numbers (8 digits or more, such as account, order or reference numbers) go under Numbers, ready to copy instead of retyping

· Payment cards — card number (only the last 4 digits are shown), expiry date and security code. They're read only on your device, never saved (not even in Copy history), and copied as sensitive like IBANs

· Links · Amounts · Dates — receipt totals with your region's thousands and decimal separators (1,234.56 or 1.234,56), and dates in your region's day/month order; a date that could be read two ways is kept as written

· Other text — every line that doesn't fit a group, such as addresses

■ One tap to copy

· Tap a value to copy it, or tap Copy all for a whole group

· Tap Digits to copy just the digits of a number or amount

· Tap Capture to freeze the moment and pick at your own pace

· A value you copied before shows "Copied N times before", and one that differs by a character or two from a value you often copy shows "Similar to a value you often copy" — a reminder to check, not a guarantee

■ Private by design

· Text recognition and grouping run entirely on your device; recognized text and photos never leave it

· No server, no account: CopyZoom has no server of its own, so we never receive your text, photos or copy history. The results-screen ad (Google AdMob) is separate and may process your advertising identifier and similar data (see below)

· IBANs and long numbers (10 digits or more) are marked sensitive, so clipboard previews hide them (Android 13+). Once 2 minutes have passed, they're cleared from the clipboard while CopyZoom is on screen or when you return to it; they may not be cleared while you're using another app, and aren't cleared after you close CopyZoom

· Copy history keeps only an unreadable fingerprint (hash), a count and the date on this device — never the values themselves — and is never sent off the device or backed up. Turn it off or delete it anytime under Copy history

■ Good to know

· Requires Android 7.0 or later on a device with a camera

· One banner ad appears at the bottom of the results screen after you tap Capture (no ads on the camera screen). Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may process your device's advertising identifier and similar data to show ads; ad requests never include the text you scan. Details are in the Privacy Policy
