How to work with lessons?

After watching a short tutorial, open “Free Lessons”. Scroll down, select one of the chapters and click on a specific lesson that is available. We offer one or more free lessons from each chapter for users to try: Basic Concepts, Liquids and Gases, Optics and Energy, that is, content for grades 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.

Each lesson includes animation and a nice supplementary text. Animations come in various forms. Some portray physical phenomena in a loop, others can be controlled with buttons next to the image (by clicking on them), or switching between different animations with arrows.

For better comprehension and memorization, all problems consist of questions that support critical thinking and encourage active discussion. In addition, teacher's guides and parent summaries are also part of the lessons.

How to work with augmented reality?

You can also view animations through augmented reality (AR).

Print a worksheet from our app (single worksheets for each lesson, or all at once by clicking “Get Worksheets” in the chapter menu) preferably in A5 format. Slide your finger on "Open augmented reality" and point your smart device or tablet at the illustrative image (it is necessary to open the corresponding chapter in the application).

The Vividbooks app then turns the image into an interactive animation that appears on your screen. After watching the animation and reading the text, it is possible to fill in worksheets with new information and gradually create your own textbook. To make sure the AR technology works even after drawing on the worksheet, it is recommended to use lighter pencils instead of strong markers. The sheets must also not be folded or wrinkled for AR to work properly.
