Virtual St. Louis

Step back in time and experience St. Louis history in 3D.

Virtual St. Louis is a free app that allows users to view 3D reconstructions of St. Louis' built environment at different moments in time. The models are viewable in Google Earth and users must have Google Earth downloaded on their devices to view the displays. In addition to interacting with 3D models, visitors can access written information, photographs, and archival documents pertaining to the history of St. Louis.

Virtual City software is developed by the Department of History at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Content is provided by a wide community of users.
