Waiter App to Manage Table Orders

VilicoTab is an order-taking app to assist the servers in restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and any food service business. The waiters can conveniently take tableside orders on hand-held devices, automatically send the orders to the kitchen and bar, and request payment directly from the mobile device (phone or tablet).

Who can use VilicoTab?

The VilicoTab app is developed for the restaurants using the restaurant POS software VilicoPOS - it syncs with it in real-time. The sync between the VilicoTab app and the VilicoPOS restaurant POS software is included in the price.

Taking orders

Taking new orders is done by selecting the table -> product categories -> products.

The menu, number, and the color-coded table status (available = green, reserved = yellow, active = red) are extracted from the VilicoPOS POS software.

Quick search option for items (eg. "mar" for "Pizza Margherita").

The waiter can add comments (eg "no salt"). The orders are automatically sent to the appropriate sections (bar or kitchen).

The waiter can operate multiple orders at the same time, without having to wait in order to enter the orders at the counter.

Payment

Allows multiple payment methods as well as full or partial payments. Includes the option to issue the bill directly from the application.
