Work from a private copy

SQLite Workbench copies the database into app-private storage before opening it. Queries, checks and edits use that copy. The original file is not opened for writing.

Useful without upgrading

Browse tables, views, indexes and triggers. Read rows in pages and filter a column by contains, is null or is not null. Run one supported read-only SQL statement at a time. Check database integrity and export a table, filtered view or query result as CSV or JSON Lines. Free exports include up to 1,000 rows.

Keep track of recent transactions

Some SQLite databases keep recent changes in a separate write-ahead log. If Android has not granted access to that log, the app explains what may be missing before showing rows. Grant folder access to include an accessible log, or continue from the last checkpoint with a visible warning.
