Assessing ABB Patterns with Q&A is a self-contained assessment tool that mirrors its corresponding Learn and Play app. The app is designed to collect digital assessment evidence as the child independently demonstrates their knowledge and understanding of ABB patterning concepts.

An additional benefit of Confirm and Display assessment apps is that incorrectly or uncompleted assessment tasks identify specific knowledge gaps. These gaps can then be addressed by directing the child to the corresponding level(s) of the relevant Learn and Play app.

On completion of these levels the specific knowledge gap(s) can be reassessed with the Confirm and Display assessment app.

COLLECTING DIGITAL ASSESSMENT EVIDENCE

Assessing ABB Patterns with Q&A also enables teachers to collect digital (JPEG) images of all assessment tasks. These images include the child's name and their responses to each assessment task. So they can be used as supporting assessment evidence for reporting purposes.

Also, the images can be printed and stored in a paper based student file or uploaded into a digital e-portfolio recording system.

STRESS FREE ASSESSMENT

Assessing ABB Patterns with Q&A also includes a number of 'just for fun' brain games that reward children for completing each assessment task while breaking the continuous assessment cycle and its associated anxiety.
