Synopsis

After a terrifying incident at age seven, you learned to control your vampiric urges. You survive on animal blood and blend in among humans, who remain blissfully unaware that vampires exist at all. Life is good: you're a healthy university student with real friends and a future. Then tragedy strikes.

When your childhood friend Micah is badly injured, you give in and drink his blood, reawakening a craving for human blood you thought was long buried.

As Micah recovers, two alluring newcomers arrive in town, and both are vampires. Soon a string of murders shakes the community, every victim drained completely dry. The mayor, who happens to be Micah's father, publicly exposes the existence of vampires and launches a crusade against them.

One of the newcomers reveals the truth: a power-hungry vampire organization is behind the killings, and they're preparing a full-scale attack to seize control of the town. To stop them, you'll have to fight your own hunger, decide who you can trust, and somehow keep up with your studies.

Then a mission to infiltrate the enemy's base goes wrong, and the fate of the town — along with your own life — hangs in the balance.

Micah — your childhood friend, human

Skinny, brilliant, and charmingly awkward, Micah has been at your side since childhood. Now a fellow university student, this geeky gamer and gadget inventor is a genuine genius, and also the mayor's son. But you've tasted his blood, and the craving may be impossible to resist. One slip, and you might not be able to stop.

Trent — your wealthy British vampire roommate

Refined accent, killer looks, and combat skills to match. Trent is as dangerous as he is desirable. He claims he owes you a life debt because your late father once saved him, and he insists you move into his luxurious apartment. He's addicted to chocolate and unexpectedly supportive of your struggle with bloodlust, but his past is dark and largely unexplained.

Luc — the flirty vampire student

A lacrosse-playing heartthrob with devilish good looks and easy charm, Luc knows exactly how to turn heads, and he has decided on yours. His unexpected hobby is knitting, which only adds to the intrigue. But he knows suspiciously much about the murderous organization, and you can't tell whether he's friend or enemy.
