SoundMatch is the latest app released as part of the Playknow series of m-learning apps. The app gives option to the user to play a game of matching pictures with sounds or matching sounds with sounds. There are a few sample topics available as part of the app.

The best part is that the user can create his own lessons/topics. The sound to picture can be created by user by simply clicking pictures from the app itself and recording the sound from within the app. The pictures will be stored inside a folder, from where it will be displayed in the lesson created by user. Alternately, the user can choose a sound file or a picture from their mobile file folders and use it to create a lesson. It is a great tool for linguistic learning where the voice intonation helps the student to pronounce the words correctly and also associate it with the relevant pictures. It will be a great tool for associating specific words as part of translation exercises.
