The installation of the Should I Answer application is not difficult. Just download it from the Google Play store, and even your grandma could use it :-) . The graphical interface is user-friendly and enables you to easily gain all the necessary information about respective numbers or to write your own ratings.

For more advanced users we have prepared further functions:

-> The app is personalized by your Google mail account. Thanks to this you lose no data even if you exchange your phone for a new one.

-> All your data (ratings, reviews, app settings) can be easily downloaded and imported under a different user account.

-> The level of protection can be adjusted exactly according to your demands: from a simple warning about the unsolicited call, up to blocking it.

-> The application can even block hidden, foreign or premium numbers and allows you to create your own block list.

-> The app can even protect you offline. If you need to update the local database, it waits until you are connected to wi-fi. It will only ask you to update the database using your mobile data if you haven't connected to wi-fi in a long time.

How does it work?

All the numbers on our pages/in the local database were rated by our users from their own real experience (based on real calls). The daily number of new reviews is more than 10,000. The reviews are first gathered on our server, and after the administrator checks and approves them, they are sent to the local database of your Should I Answer application with the daily database update.

You don’t have to be worried about your privacy with us - your private numbers stay always hidden in your phone, we never use them for public presentation or processing. We care only about new, unknown calls (and if we find out that someone has written a review for personal number, we work to delete it ASAP).

If the app is free then how do you profit?

Our main target when creating this application was to make a tool to fight against unfair telemarketing and unsolicited calls. This is why the app is free: our only income is from the advertisements displayed on the web pages www.shouldianswer.net (and other related sites) and voluntary donations from our users.
