Making bread is quite different from making other bakery products. One of the main ingredients that take party in this process is yeast. Yeast triggers dough fermentation process that makes the dough rise and adds that special favorite aroma and flavor to your bread.
More often than not they use wheat or rye flour – all-purpose or wholegrain. All-purpose flower makes the dough more elastic, fluffy and spongy, while wholegrain flour will make your bread more dense.
Liquids they use in bread recipes (water, milk or buttermilk) dissolve yeast, helping them to interact with other ingredients. Whatever liquid you prefer to use, remember that it must be warm and not cold or hot.
Among other ingredients they use while making bread, there are salt, sugar, eggs, herbs and other ones to your taste.
