What does the invention do?

A shopping app that streamlines the shopping experience for customers by taking them to the exact spot in a store where the item they are looking for is located. This is especially true for grocery store shoppers.

• How does the invention work?

The store downloads all their info into the cloud and the shopper accesses it by searching for an item on the mobile App,They select the store name and the store location enter the store items they wish to purchase and the app will provide the aisle number and aisle position ( exact location) and direct them to the spot. The APP will sort all items by Aisle number and position in an ascending or descending order based on shopper preference. The store aisles will be divided by number with subdivision on each aisle.

Eg:- Coca-Cola, Aisle 3 Section B Shelf 1.

The end caps will be assigned numbers corresponding to the aisles they are located at. .

Eg:- Bounty Paper Towels Aisle 2 FE (Front End).

The tables will be assigned numbers by Dept.

Eg:- Bread Bakery-1, Tri-Tip Meat-2, etc.

The numbers and subdivisions will be displayed on the tables and aisles.

The components are the database of all items in a store and the software.

Providing access to a unique database that has store items and location streamlines the shopping task by providing information that will assist the shopper to access the products quickly without spending excessive time searching for items.

• How are the components put together and how do they work together to function?’

The store database contains items description, bar codes, and the exact location of items. which the shopper can access via the unique APP search for the desired items and it’s aisle position. The search result will be displayed by aisle number and aisle position. The items will be grouped by aisle number and aisle position.
