Protractor

The Protractor app is a tool for measuring tilt using a gyroscope, accelerometer and camera.

You can measure like a goniometer by moving the lines with the touch mode, or you can measure the angle by rotating your device with the plumb mode.

You can save your measurements in the database, view them in record or graph, or view your pictures in the gallery.

Instructions

Double tap the screen to hide or show menu. Use swipe right gesture to open navigation menu to access settings, records, charts and other screens.

You can use upward or downward protractor depending on your preference.

Touch and drag measurement lines to measure angle in touch mode.

Aligning the sensor vertically or horizontally allows you to get better readings in touch mode.

• The green color indicates that horizontal rotation of the device is less than 3 degrees. This is the most accurate measurement state if you wish to align your device with the ground

• The yellow color indicates that horizontal rotation of the device is between 3 and 10 degrees.

• The red color indicates that horizontal rotation of the device is bigger than 10 degrees.

Rotate your device horizontally to measure the angle in plumb mode. When measuring horizontal angle, pay attention to vertical rotation of the device.

Measurement can be saved to database using record button.

Records Screen

You can view previously saved measurements in this section. By touching the button on the top right you can save records to an xls file in the selected folder.

Charts Screen

You can see the graphs of the records in this section. By touching the button on the upper right, you can save the image of the graphic in the selected folder.
