Discovery of Keram in South Asia. Of course this is not a debate. Some say the game first started in Sri Lanka. Many say that Indians once spread the game to Sri Lanka.

Many say in Portugal. After the invention, when the game was spread all over the world, the game was played in different countries.

Southern California schools used to play Kerams in American schools from 1 to 5. There were again six pockets on the carom board. The rules of the game were a lot like billiards. Another name for the carom is Finger Billiards.

In the 5th of America, teacher Henry Haskell changed the rules of the game. He made the striker much lighter and shaped the ring instead of his knees. Today, there is a tradition of playing this kind of carom.

In Mexico and Java, one time a wooden carousel was played with a round lid on a board. According to the ICF Rules Book, the minimum length of the arm per caram board is 1.5 cm and maximum is 5 cm. The diameter of each pocket is 1.5 cm. Of the 4 bells, 1 is white, 3 is black and one is red.

The diameter of each knee is 0.52 centimeters to 5.5 centimeters and the weight is between 5 and 1.5 grams. The striker has a diameter of 1.5 cm and the maximum weight is 5 grams. Points according to the color of the Keram bells. The red hue, which we call 'red', is the highest point. This cloak is called queen in many countries. According to ICF rules, "Red" is also called queen.

The International Carom Federation (ICF) was formed in Chennai, India in the 5th. Since then, certain rules have to be followed in national and international matches. The first keram competition is held at the international level in the 5th.

Bangladesh Keram Federation was formed in the 5th. Although the game of karam is widely prevalent and popular everywhere in Bangladesh, according to it, there is no success at the international level because it may be played at different levels at grass root level.
