MDEC GAIN Connect Portal is a self-service portal designed to help both MDEC staff (Infotech GAIN Team) and GAIN Companies on their daily operational activities with the following objectives:

1. Provide one stop center mobile application self-service portal to GAIN Companies.

2. Provide effective client support through shorter turnaround time in gathering information or status update.

3. Reduce Account Managers workload by simplifying and automating operational activities through self-service portal.

4. Improve MDEC interaction with GAIN companies by providing readily available information and services.

MDEC GAIN Connect Portal capabilities for the GAIN Companies that include alerts, notifications, company profile, events, programs, FAQ, information directory and calendar. The site will also include an interaction center (chat messaging services) which includes direct communication and feedback form for the company to interact with MDEC staff. Some parts of the site will incorporate Gamification where points and achievements are rewarded to companies for accomplishing desired task (Phase II).

Key Features:

Smart Messaging: Send messages on single or group chat, forward/resend the messages with much more flexibility. You can even choose to recall the message to avoid broadcast of wrong message.

File Sharing: With one click share images, posts and updates to different social media accounts without coming out of the application. GAIN Connect accommodates multiple file formats for documents, files, audio bites etc.

Voice Messages: Record and attach high quality voice notes to your message in such cases where a quick audio bite works better than text messages.

Group Chat: Create groups for teams or projects; add contacts; chat; send images, videos, voice notes, reports and emoticons to collaborate better.

Message Broadcasting: Shoot texts to all or selected members using ‘Message Broadcast’ feature. It helps sending key updates, announcements and news across a large group of audience.

Rewards Program: Invite friends, chat with friends and get reward points. The points can be redeemed to avail prizes.

Around Me: Find the places around you including restaurants, malls, coffee shops etc.

Security & Privacy: The conversations and content shared on GAIN Connect is encrypted and secure. You can also set a password to the application
