Detect Metals is detecting various metals and gold using the built in magnetometer by measuring differences, fluctuations and interference of the magnetic field.
It also works on electric wires and power sources.
This magnetometer can be used to measure interference in elector waves caused by metal and other magnetic stuff.
Detect metal app is simple to use, just open it and move it around. If the magnetic field values rise there is metal in the area. Accuracy of the app is entirely dependent on the magnetic sensor in your device and is affected by electrical equipment such as TVs, PCs… due to electromagnetic waves.
