After the zombie apocalypse, only your settlement survived. The city was protected by a train that traveled around the city, and fired back from the advancing hordes of zombies. You, as one of the few survivors, must rejoice humanity.
Collect resources and rebuild the city. Upgrade yourself and hire associates. Build new rails to expand the zone protected by the train. And most importantly, KILL THE ZOMBIES!
