HiveOut, a Microsoft Garage project, is a new group messaging app for Office 365 enabled schools and colleges. It offers a new way to manage information, track progress and make decisions.

Connect instantly: Create groups with your friends, classmates, seniors, faculty from your school

Group activity board: Every group gets an activity board to track all the important stuff together. The board offers a bird’s eye view of the groups’ key activities which include,

• Easy document, link and photo keeping

• Polls for quick consensus

• To-do lists to track progress together

• Event invites for setting up meetups

Groups can delete board items to keep the board relevant and clutter-free. You can chat and collaborate simultaneously. The chat and board are always in tandem.

Hashtags for tracking: Groups can use hashtags to track multiple topics of interest. You can hashtag anything you share to the group via chat or board.

Filter on your topic of interest anytime, to get related information or track progress.
