Bible Nuggets

The Bible Nuggets app was developed so that you could have those great "nuggets" from the Bible available randomly at the touch of your hand. It is a great app for when your standing in line at the grocery store or waiting for your car to have an oil change - whenever you have free time to browse and you need a "quick fix" of truth!

But its for much more than just browsing nuggets (although that was the original reason I developed it). It also includes a full Bible browser, a facility to setup and practice memory verses, an area to practice answers to common objections (Apologetics) and a clock that displays Scripture that is based on the time of the day. I developed all of these features to meet my needs and I hope that these features are able to bless many others as well.

v1.53 - Now can browse a random topic from the main screen.

v1.50 - Several miscellaneous changes: Modified logging, gave ability to select translation when viewing full bible chapter, changed name of 'Tag' to 'Topic', gave choice to browse passages by topic in either random or sequential order

v1.49 - Gave means to download new databases, refreshing the content, without reinstalling the app.

v1.48 - Fixed an issue with the emailing of memory verses as a spreadsheet that was causing a force stop

v1.47 - Ability to copy non-bible nugget to clipboard and ability to go directly to non-bible nugget.

v1.44/45/46 (3/14&16&17/13): Added ability to find all full bible verses that do not already exist in Nuggets db and add them.

v1.41 (1/15/13): Enhanced logging a little

v1.40 (1/14/13): Can now "browse" queued memory passages in the Nuggets screen.

v1.39 (1/14/13): Fixed a bug when searching nugget text and nothing found

v1.37/38 (1/13/13): Ability to email all the passages associated with a tag.

v1.34/35/36 (1/11/13): Added logging to a file on the SD card and the ability to send the log to the developer

v1.33 (1/8/13): Added menu to nuggets screen to search the text of the currently loaded passage list.

v1.32 (1/6/13): All the places where tag lists are shown, they are now sorted properly - independent of case.

v1.31 (1/5/13): On Browse Nuggets by Tag screen, I added a 'Browse Related Passages' popup menu item

v1.30 (1/2/13): Added item to both main screen and nuggets screen to view and navigate to a list of recently viewed passages.

v1.29 (12/31/12): From the full Bible search results, you can email the results.

v1.27/28 (12/27/12): Attempting to fix first time startup issue with Motorola Droid Razr HD

v1.26 (12/19/12): Put a text filter on the browse nuggets by tag screen.

v1.25 (12/18/12): Several minor adjustments:

- Make sure the add to memory doesn't show up

unless the passage is not in memory

- Disable navigation on the full Bible browser

in cases where it doesn't make sense.

v1.24 (12/16/12): On the browse nuggets screen there is now a "Go To Passage..." menu that allows you to jump directly to a passage

v1.23 (12/16/12): On the jump to passage feature and the add passage to tag feature when entering a passage reference, the app is now recognizing alternate book names and abbreviations (e.g. ps = psalms).

v1.22 (12/14/12): Fixed issue with adding tag to passage.

v1.21 (12/14/12): Provided capability to email databases for backup purposes.

v1.20 (12/13/12): Some minor improvements and tweaks to the features added the last 2 days.

v1.19 (12/12/12): Ability to jump directly to a passage from main screen

v1.18 (12/11/12): Gave capability to 'Add Passage To Tag' on the Browse By Tags screen. This is done by long pressing on a tag.

v1.17 (8/29/12): Added a Passages By Book screen under memorization.

v1.16 (8/16/12): Fixed a problem with saving a non-Bible nugget without tags.
