The Open Tickets app will hold your tickets ready for entry to the final major of the year, taking place at Royal Portrush between 13-20 July 2025.

Instantly Access Tickets:

The Open Tickets app offers instant access to any tickets purchased through TheOpen.com website and is the only official route of accessing your digital tickets.

After purchasing tickets from TheOpen.com, you will receive an email in the weeks leading up to the event with a link to download the app and instructions outlining how to access your ticket(s).

Simply download the app and register with the email address you used when purchasing your tickets.

You will then be able to access your tickets in the 'My Tickets' tab, ready for entry to the Championship.

‘My Tickets’:

In the ‘My Tickets’ tab, you'll be able to view and access all tickets linked to your registered email address.

You'll be able to see full ticket information and all relevant details in the build up to The 153rd Open, as well as useful information on arriving at the Championship, including gate opening times, transport links and travel suggestions.

The app keeps your tickets safe and secure, as the QR code required to gain entry to the Championship will only be visible and accessible within 36 hours of the gate opening time on the day for which your ticket is valid.

Ticket Transfer:

The Open Tickets app makes it easy to transfer tickets to others in your group.

With the email address of each individual guest, you can quickly, safely and securely send each ticket you have purchased to the guest who will be using that ticket, simply by pressing the 'Transfer' button within the ticket you wish to transfer.

After your invited guest downloads the app and registers, the ticket you transferred to them will appear in the ‘My Tickets’ tab of their app.
