The meaning of reading sholawat is to give blessings, glory, welfare and mercy to the prophet Muhammad SAW and his family and followers, where our goal is to get the reward and goodness during the world and the day of reunification. But Sholawat also means praying for glory and praising the perfect name of Allah SWT so that we are always close to him so that when we need his help in desperation then there will be nothing impossible for him to help us.

Prophet Muhammad SAW said: "When one of you (man) reads sholawat, it should start with glorifying the name of Allah ta'ala and praising him, after that then read sholawat to the prophet, after that can pray in accordance with the prayers that are cool (HR.Ahmad , Abu dawud and tirmidzi) "
