SCORE! HERO is a single player soccer reproduction game where the user takes an avatar from unprofessional status through 12 seasons of professional and international play. Each season consists of 20 levels that reflect the next soccer game in the avatars career.

Each level consists of several involuntary scenarios (usually 1-4) that the user must finish (score a goal) to complete the level. An example of a scenario is the goaltender has just stopped a shot and is ready to punt the ball or a player was just fouled and the team is setting up for a free kick. The level begins after a brief cut scene and text description of the action that has taken place up until that point in the game. After this is finished, the user is obtainable with a time frozen scene presentation the field of view of a prearranged scenario.

The only input is the user illustration a line from the current player with the ball to the place they want it to go. After the user draws a legal path (i.e. a path that is possible with real world physics), the scene is played out with the ball wandering in the bearing presented.

The power the player kicks the ball with has to do with the length of the line and the position the player is in (i.e. if they are standing still can kick it further then if they are sliding for the ball). If the ball makes it to a player on the users team two things can happen.
