Alpha Dog Firearms is a veteran owned company that first started out in the garage doing FFL transfers for friends and friends of friends.

When the decision to even start a home based FFL came up the first hurdle was choosing a name. A list of about 20 company names was written down and scrutinized until one night while watching TV and playing with the dogs, it was said aloud how even at her advanced age of 14, Sadie was clearly the Alpha Dog of the group.
