On the utilization of the processor (CPU) by intensive arithmetic operations in a plurality of parallel processes ( 'threads') of the processor is heated. The resulting heat is transferred via the housing to the outside and warms all contacts the housing - e.g. pocket.
The unit temperature in ° C is continuously displayed, if a temperature sensor is present.
The number of threads is set to a multiple of the number of CPU cores of the device, whereby a maximum and as uniform as possible computational load to be achieved. In standard mode, there are three levels, in Expert Mode you can adjust fine this yet.
Two types of arithmetic operations are carried out: Mathematical floating-point operations and graphic bitmap operations (memory accesses). The latter produce increased 'Kernel' computing load that is necessary, particularly power intensive. The ratio of the load components of the two types can also be adjusted in expert mode.
