SUN Lessons helps you learn the SUN symbol system step by step, using flashcards and interactive lessons.

SUN (Symbolic Universal Notation) is a pictorial language created to provide Scripture to the Deaf and DeafBlind who have had little access to education and have not yet learned how to read or use their national sign language. It is made up of one hundred basic symbols that are the building blocks for the rest of the language. This application leads the user through the fourteen introductory lessons that lay the foundation for the entire notation system. The symbols in SUN are taught using illustrations to improve retention.
