Suluk Linglung Terjemahan

Suluk Linglung (SL) is a work that tells the spiritual journey of Sunan Kalijaga and the spiritual knowledge of Kanjeng Sunan. In the opening translation it is mentioned that this SL was adapted from the famous "Book of Duryat", a legacy from the Sunan Kalijaga family. The "Book of Duryat" was kept, according to the opening statement, by Ray Supartini Mursidi, one of the descendants of Sunan Kalijaga. It contained about the treatment and use of various herbs, talismans and Arabic tattoos, and various prayers in Javanese and Arabic.

According to the statement at the opening of SL, in the last part of the Book of Duryat it tells of Sunan Kalijaga with the song of macapat and then transliterated into Latin writing as well as being translated with the title Suluk Linglung Sunan Kalijaga. This transliteration was later published by Balai Pustaka, Jakarta, 1993.

This suluk was written by referring to the passage "Ngerasa Sirna Sarira Ji", which was given information based on the opening paragraph in this SL, which is around 1806 Saka (1884 AD). The translation team was given an identity: Anomalous Faith; is a poet from Surakarta who is a descendant of Sunan Kalijaga; 1980 Caka / 1884 M.

suluk which consists of several poems, and among the parts in the poems tells of Syeh Malaya or Sunan Kalijaga who met with the Prophet Khidir. Those who read this story, need to understand that among the scholars and experts of the tarekat, the belief that the Prophet Khidir is still alive, is the majority belief among the scholars, as said by Imam an-Nawawi, Shaykh Mahfudz at-Termasi, and besides, in where have I written about that before?

In the "Durma" section, the 3rd Poem of SL, the story of the meeting of the Prophet Khidir and Sunan Kalijaga is discussed; whereas on the 4th poem the knowledge at the meeting was revealed. I will quote here from the 3rd verse of SL based on the translation mentioned above about the meeting:

"Sunan Bonang immediately broke through, into a forest that was more dense and difficult to pass, after actually finding, who was selling deer, who was running immediately thrown, with rice one ball, right on his back.

Syeh Melaya ran a bit later, then the second toss, on the stomach, fell down on Syeh Melaya, then thrown again, one rice ball, remembered and realized and then served Sunan Bonang.

He knelt to kiss the feet of Sunan Bonang, said the teacher Sunan Bonang: "My son, know by you, if you want to get intelligence, who is hidayatullah, take the pilgrimage, to Mecca with a sincere heart / sincere."

"Take the zam-zam water to Mecca, it is holy water, and at the same time expect the blessings of syafa`at, Kanjeng Prophet Muhammad who became the role model of mankind."

Sunan Bonang had already stepped foot, towards the quiet village of Benang, and then we followed, the journey of Syeh Melaya, who wished to go on the pilgrimage, to Mecca, he took a shortcut.

Breaking through the forest, up the mountain down the cliff, the cliffs on his fore, to the edge of the beach, his heart confused, the difficulty of taking the next road.

Obstructed by a vast ocean, as far as the eye can see it appears only water. He was stunned for a long time twisting his brain to find the way to go, on the edge of the ocean. That shahdan was a human, named Sang Pajuningrat, knowing the arrival of a confused man (Syeh Melaya).

The Pajuningrat knew of all the journeys experienced, by Syeh Melaya with a million concerns, because he wanted to achieve life; various methods have been taken, also through a mental appreciation and trying to uncover various hidden secrets, but it is impossible to find hidayat, unless you get the gift of God who Haqq.
