StoreHop

TLDR - StoreHop features one master list of items tagged across multiple stores; each store gets its own per-aisle shopping view, and checking an item off at one store cascades — buying mozzarella at Kroger drops it from the Publix and WalMart lists too. No more guesswork! No more missing an opportunity to pick something up that you need while you’re already at a store that carries the item!

StoreHop is not just another shopping-list app! StoreHop was designed for real world use. All other shopping list apps make the same mistake… assuming that you build a shopping list for each store you visit. One for the grocery store, one for WalMart, one for Target, one for the pharmacy, etc.

The folly of that approach is that many of the items that you buy every day can be found at all (or at least a few) of those locations.

If I need milk and eggs, I should be able to add those two items to my list ONCE! Then the app should be smart enough to automatically update every store that carries milk and eggs. So, whatever store I happen to be at at the moment, I can see what items I can cross off my list while I’m there.

And, the app will automatically remove it from the other stores once I’ve checked it off my list! No more switching back and forth between stores trying to remember what got added where and what stores I should add a needed item to.

The fun doesn’t stop there! StoreHop allows you to assign items to categories (e.g., produce, meats, seafood, toiletries, pharmacy, etc.). Then, StoreHop allows you to order the categories in a different order for each store. This allows you to stroll through any store and follow the most efficient path through the isles.

The app ships with a starter set of stores and categories. Anything not on that list (a regional chain, a one-off shop, a category for a specific household) is added or renamed by the user.
