This morning I woke up disoriented, wondering what day it was... Has this ever happened to you?
I wondered why the day of the month wasn't on the status bar of my phone, so I wrote a quick and dirty app to do it.
I hope you like it.
It does use BOOT notification and runs as a service, so if you reboot the phone, it'll still say the date.

Origin event. Used the day of week, not day of month... SO the day was off. It's the little things. Fixed. Timer was being stepped on, so implemented a thread-safe well... thread. This should fix the issue of the date not updating after a few hours. Date updated every 10 minutes, cancel prev.not.
Improved Graphics. New wording.
Fixed bug in display of date.
Fixed/workaround bug in Date framework which caused month to be wrong. (AARG! Get your shit together JAVA.)
